Print Marketing Tools

Several of the company's sales reps preferred to work with printed materials that they could leave with customers. Some of these brochures were redesigned from existing materials, while others were created from scratch. All of the printing was done in-house, which required that some design choices were dictated by the capabilities of the machine. I looked on this as a challenge, however – it forced me to come up with designs that still packed the visual wallop I wanted, but fit within the limitations of the technology.

	Product Labelling and Branding I began by designing a new series of labels for all the lubricant products, to replace the hodgepodge of styles, colors, and concepts that had been in use for years. All the printing was done in-house, which allowed me to custom-design a label for even a small batch of a new prototype product. 	Company Profile I designed it to tie in visually with the display booth I had designed, but I had to adjust the coloring somewhat for the capabilities of the in-house printer. Click Here for the full brochure (PDF).
	Case Studies I designed a new template to showcase the company’s achievements, and give a fresher, more modern look. Click to view samples (PDF).
	Product Technical Datasheets I created a new look for the technical spec sheets for all the lubricant products, one that tied in visually to the website. Normally I would have divided the text into columns to make it easier to read, but because this would primarily be used via the website, I made a conscious decision to keep the page formatted as a single column to make it easier to scroll through on a screen. 	Emission Analysis Product Line I designed this brochure to showcase the company’s line of engine emission monitoring systems, and they were the primary sales tool used by the distributor. Click Here for the full brochure (PDF).
	Infrared Oil Analysis System The company is an industry leader in infrared spectroscopy for monitoring the condition of in-service oils. The COAT system was developed to replace and improve upon a host of other analytical lab equipment. Click Here for the full brochure (PDF).
