Theatre Production and Design

  • Coordinated production schedule and logistics, as well as administration of the budget
  • Stage managed for companies ranging from high school and community theatre groups, to summer stock and professional productions, with casts as large as 65 performers.
  • Lighting and Scenic Design including construction, storage and maintenance.
  • Produced consistent, high-quality work with budgets of varying sizes, for amateur, semi-professional and professional companies in a variety of venues including the Segal Studio and Centaur, Hudson Village Theatre, and other venues in and around Montreal.
  • Technical Direction, including arranging rental of lighting, sound and stage equipment. Some facility management. Familiar with basic sound system setup, and conventional lighting setup.

Logistics and Team Management

  • Supervised the day-to-day operations in an industrial manufacturing setting.
  • Created and implemented procedures to improve inventory tracking, including purchasing forecasts to optimize inventories for productions.

Industrial and Corporate Operations

  • Revised and oversaw implementation of the ISO 9001 Quality Management System procedures and policies, and supervised and conducted internal Quality Audits.
  • Designed and implemented a new electronic filing system that greatly reduced errors and improved efficiency and traceability.
  • Created and implemented Canadian Industrial Security procedures in compliance with various Government of Canada security divisions, successfully passed all security audits.
  • Designed test plans for at-sea naval engineering tests and trials.

Communications and Marketing

  • Created communication and media plans for theatre production consulting company
  • Designed and produced marketing and promotional material for various business and cultural organizations including posters, brochures, websites, newsletters, etc.
  • Coordinated with stakeholders to devise, develop, and maintain advertising and marketing strategies.
  • Drove the update and implementation of new corporate image, including copywriting and graphic design for print and web-based marketing initiatives.
  • Product photography, including image editing, compositing and retouching using Adobe Creative Suite software.
  • Developed new systems to harmonize information sharing both within the company and with customers.
